Benjamin Haddad joined California Strategies in 2006 as a partner and established the firm’s office in San Diego. Prior to joining California Strategies, Mr. Haddad was senior vice president for communications at Science Applications International Corporation. Mr. Haddad was deputy chief of staff and Cabinet Secretary to California’s former governor, Pete Wilson. He was also named chief of staff to San Diego Mayor Susan Golding. Mr. Haddad is the chair of LEAD San Diego’s board of directors and the San Diego Foundation’s Public Policy Committee and serves on The Monarch School board of directors. Mr. Haddad holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Southern California, a law degree from the University of San Diego and is a member of the California State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. He completed a post-graduate course at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Mr. Haddad and his wife, Ann, reside in Point Loma.
