LEAD San Diego is proud to announce the highly coveted IMPACT San Diego Class of 2012. IMPACT San Diego, LEAD’s signature 10-month issues-oriented program that focuses on regional issues ranging from the regional economy, K-12 education, arts & culture, health & human services, the military, law & society and more, is extremely competitive and seeks the brightest leaders to learn more about San Diego’s most critical and complex issues.

“This class is an outstanding group of budding and seasoned regional leaders who will no doubt create positive change in the community through their IMPACT experience,” said LEAD San Diego Vice President of Programs & Operations, Sherrie-Lyn Thompson.

For the ninth consecutive year, the class will break into groups to work on our Leadership Action Team initiative that partners with local nonprofit organizations to help fill a critical need in the agency ranging from strategic marketing, development and business plans. Oftentimes, class members remain involved with their LAT partner agency in a volunteer or board member capacity long after their project concludes. LEAD is now accepting requests for proposals from local nonprofits to participate in the program.
