Vicky Carlson was appointed to president and chief executive officer of LEAD San Diego in August, 2010. Carlson joined the LEAD board in 2004 and served in many capacities before leaving to assume her current position.
Carlson has nearly two decades of business experience and was president and owner of Office Pavilion San Diego, a Herman Miller furniture dealership.
She serves on the board of Voices for Children and on the board of The Woman’s Conference serving at the pleasure of First Lady Maria Shriver. She is active in many other local committees and boards.
Carlson received the WMBE Supplier of the Year Award (Class III) from the Greater San Diego Business Development Council, the Athena Pinnacle Award from UCSD Rady School of Management and San Diego’s "Women Who Mean Business" Award.
Carlson holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Wyoming. In 2005, she completed the Management Development for Entrepreneurs program at Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
